# Tips that work everywhere

## Filters stay in the page address

When you filter a list (by status, sport, coach…), the filters are saved in the browser's address bar. So you can:

* **Bookmark** a view you use often, for example "Academy, padel, unpaid".
* **Send the link** to a colleague so they see exactly what you see.

## Side panels

Clicking a row (a lead, a student, a camper…) opens a panel on the right with all their details. Close it with the **X**. The list behind it doesn't change.

## By person or by family

Several lists have a **By person / By family** switch. By family groups siblings together, which helps when you want to take one payment or make one call.

## Undo

**Undo**, in the sidebar, reverts your last change. To step back further, or redo something you undid, go to **Audit › Recent changes**.

## Deleting isn't forever

Deleted families, students, bookings, payments, expenses, invoices and classes go to the **Bin**. What was deleted together comes back together: a family returns with its students, bookings and payments.

## Download to Excel

The **Download CSV** buttons (or the ⬇ icon) in Leads, Finance, Reports and **Team › Pay** download a CSV of what you're looking at. In Leads the CSV follows the filters you have on. It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.echevarrisports.com/guia/en/getting-started/trucos.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
